Experience an underwater adventure on an Atlantis submarine! While you’re in port in Barbados, spend your time on an Atlantis submarine shore excursion to see the colorful world that lives below the Caribbean Sea. At depths of 115 to 150 feet (35- 45 meters), you’ll see coral, tropical fish and shipwrecks.

When you arrive in port in Barbados, head below the surface of the Caribbean Sea for an underwater shore excursion aboard the Atlantis submarine. Your adventure begins at the Shallow Draught , where you will have time to browse for souvenirs or enjoy a cool drink and snack at Cafe Sublime before boarding the shuttle vessel Ocean Quest.

After a seven-minute scenic cruise with a quick talk by the Atlantis crew, you’ll arrive at the dive site, where you can see the submarine surfacing and make the easy transfer from the Ocean Quest to the Atlantis. You’ll be seated in spacious, air-conditioned comfort as your incredible underwater experience begins.

First, the submarine will dive to 55 feet (17 meters), where you can see the beautiful reef and the abundance of marine life, including spectacular coral, sponge and colorful fish, through large, clear viewing windows. The submarine will then descend to depths of 115 to 150 feet (35-45 meters) to view what has in the past been reserved only for scuba divers – a sunken shipwreck.

The 40-minute underwater journey is narrated by a knowledgeable co-pilot who will point out and explain the amazing sea life, as well as give a history of Atlantis and the submarine itself. After resurfacing, you will transfer back to the Ocean Quest and return to Shallow Draught. All adult tickets include a complimentary drink.

The Atlantis submarine is proud to be the first attraction in the Caribbean to receive the double award from Green Certification in alliance with Green Globe International.

Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to Bridgetown for your ship’s departure. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.
